Does anyone else feel like they’ve gotten a million Facebook event invitations for December? With so much going on in Charlotte this time of year, it’s tough to know which events you should ignore and which ones you should be interested in (by literally clicking “Interested” at the top of the Facebook event).

That’s why we’re here to narrow it down for you. Here are five events going on in the Queen City this week that you definitely don’t want to miss.

(1) Drink local while you shop local at the 7th St. Public Market’s annual Holiday Sip & Shop.

Thursday Dec. 7, 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. Free admission. 7th St. Public Market, 224 E. 7th St.

Shop for everyone on your list this holiday season at the annual 7th St. Public Market Holiday Sip & Shop, the market’s largest pop-up shopping event of the year. You can peruse items from the market’s full-time vendors, as well as additional locally-owned businesses. There will be live music by local musician Taylor Winchester, and the first 100 guests get free sparkling wine from Assorted Table Wine Shoppe to enjoy while they shop! Find more details here.

(2) Vote for Charlotte’s Most Eligible Bachelor and Bachelorette (while enjoying cocktails and appetizers) at Dilworth Tasting Room.

Tuesday Dec. 5, 7 – 9 p.m. $15. Dilworth Tasting Room, 300 E. Tremont St.

Who should be crowned Charlotte’s Most Eligible Bachelor and Bachelorette? You tell us! Enjoy drinks (whether wine or handcrafted cocktails) and appetizers at Dilworth Tasting Room on Tuesday while you vote for your favorite single. At the end of the night, we’ll crown Charlotte’s 2017 Most Eligible Bachelor and Bachelorette. Remember – in-person votes count DOUBLE the amount of online votes! Get your tickets here.

(3) Support women-owned businesses at the Girl Tribe Pop-Up: Holiday Edition.

You’ve got three options to shop local goods from female-owned and operated businesses at this year’s Girl Tribe Pop-Up: Holiday Edition.
