How they met Middle school. Where they got engaged McAdenville. Wedding in three words Classic, polished, elegant. Color palette Ivory, gold, and black.

First dance song “Stardust” by Nat King Cole. Favors There were no favors for the guests. Pearl necklaces, earrings, white elbow-length gloves, silk robes and flip-flops for the bridesmaids; leather wallets for the groomsmen.

More Than Friends “We met in our seventh grade English class after being assigned to the same group project,” Blair says. Between middle and high school, they had many of the same classes together, but didn’t become close friends until their senior year. “We started dating September 16, 2009, our freshman year of college,” Blair says.

Privacy Please Blair and David got engaged on a walk through McAdenville to see the holiday lights. Blair’s favorite tree is the large, white-lit tree in front of City Hall, but people kept passing in front of it every time David would try to get down on one knee. He lingered in front of the tree for so long that Blair began to grow suspicious. “I suspected he was going to propose but wasn’t sure,” Blair says. David took her to a little secluded bridge and it was there that he proposed, without fear of interruption.

Old Meets New Blair and David wanted a wedding that combined both classic details and more modern elements. “We love vintage-inspired style and wanted to keep everything pretty traditional, but incorporated modern music and other such touches,” Blair says.

Honeymoon Hopefully Greece or Hawaii later this year. Favorite date night Dinner and a movie. Advice for brides Enjoy every moment of the big day, it goes by so fast! Advice for grooms Don’t stress about any little details because everything works out in the end.
