Spindle Bar, an 18-seat cocktail bar serving the entire Optimist Hall food hall, will officially open Monday. Operated by Billy Sunday mixologist Stephanie Andrews, Spindle Bar will serve up a selection of easy-drinking draft and frozen cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
“The opportunity to reimagine the spirit of Billy Sunday in Charlotte has been an incredible experience, along with the chance to create an entirely new cocktail bar from scratch with Spindle,” Andrews said in a statement. “We can’t wait to open our doors and start connecting with the local community.”
Unlike the other bars in the Hall, Spindle Bar’s ABC license allows it to serve the entire communal space, meaning guests can take their liquor beverages with them as they wander throughout the hall. Enjoy your drink on the patio with a view of the skyline.
“Charlotte continues to amaze me with its genuine hospitality. I am so looking forward to sharing Spindle Bar with the community,” said Spindle Bar Proprietor Matthias Merges.
