Fityoulous (FYL), a new athletic and leisure wear clothing boutique, is set to open Sept. 9 in South End.

The idea started when two best friends from a small town in New York moved to Charlotte and realized their love for fitness, food and fashion. Co-owners Brittney Beckstead and Emily Babcock wanted to create a boutique that offered high quality women’s fitness clothing that are both on trend and fashionable.

“FYL is passionate about making everyone feel good and look good,” said Beckstead. “We strive to bring the best quality brands and pieces into Charlotte that you won’t find anywhere else.”

Along with offering athletic clothes, they will also be hosting yoga and fitness classes on a weekly basis in their store. Inside, you can expect a beachy, boho oasis for everyone to enjoy. Plus, there’s a wall specifically for taking Instagram pictures.

“We are all looking for the next best picture to post,” said Beckstead. “I think this such a fun background for everyone to enjoy.”

Make sure to check out FYL’s grand opening party Sept. 9, which will include all sorts of activities, food and special prizes.

-At 11 a.m., trainer Justine Grosso from Camp Gladiator will host a free bootcamp in FYL’s parking lot.

Clean Juice will be handing out free samples of juice while The Good Kitchen will hand out samples of food.

-The first 20 customers will receive a special gift with a purchase.

-FYL has also partnered with Flywheel to give away 10 free rides.

-All day long, there will be raffles to give away Onzie apparel.

  1. That’s great! The only question is: Where are these fashion pieces made? Engaging a U.S. (Carolinas based) tailoring shop would make this a whole thing.

  2. Congratulation Emily and Brittney….It’s true good things do happen to great people….Keep up the good work….Grampy and Grammy B
