Shake Shack, the burger chain that was started by legendary restaurateur Danny Meyer in New York’s Madison Square Park, has finally announced an opening day for its first Charlotte location in Park Road Shopping Center.

The restaurant will open at 11 a.m. April 26. The first 100 people in line will get a custom “Shake Shack X 704” hat.

Known for burgers, griddled hot dogs and chicken sandwiches, fans of the original will immediately want to know about the frozen custard: On opening day, they’ll have Pie Oh My (vanilla with slices of Suarez Bakery pie), Shark Attack (chocolate, fudge sauce, Mast Brothers chocolate chunks and chocolate sprinkles), and Cookie Butter Blender (vanilla, cookie butter and chocolate toffee). Five percent of the sales of Pie Oh My will go to Loaves & Fishes.

The Park Road location also will serve local beers from Lenny Boy’s, Catawba Brewing and Appalachian Mountain Brewing, as well as Brooklyn Brewery’s ShackMeister Ale.
