Where they are now
Presently, Reico Kitchen & Bath employs hundreds of people in various locations throughout the mid-Atlantic region. They have 22 retail locations and represent nationally recognized brands.
Their cabinet offerings include Merillat Masterpiece, Ultracraft Cabinetry, Greenfield Cabinetry and Woodharbor Cabinetry. They offer appliances from JennAir, KitchenAid, Miele, Dacor and Maytag. You will also find the full line of Kohler products, as well as Moen, Kindred sinks, Virginia Marble cultured marble tops, Bally Butcher Block and other related products. They also carry countertop brands from Cambria, Silestone and Caesarstone, among others.
Formerly Robinson Export-Import Corp., Reico was originally organized to distribute plywood and hardboard to the Baltimore-Washington area in 1952. Understandably, these products were sold mostly to manufacturers of kitchen cabinets, furniture and store fixtures.
The business transformed in 1976, when Reico became a wholesale distributor of Merillat cabinets. Reico experienced rapid, significant growth due to their thorough inventories, next day delivery and world class customer service. Eventually supplemental kitchen and bath products were added to compliment the cabinet offerings.
In 1996, retail store locations were added to facilitate individual access to the products and services the professionals had been taking advantage of for 20 years.
