Beloved Reid’s Fine Foods is back in uptown and will open this morning at 7 a.m., so skip the granola bar, and grab a gourmet, on-the-go bite instead.
Located on the first floor of 121 West Trade St. in a 32-story office building, this new location offers minimal seating and will focus on a grab and go dining experience.
“It is more geared towards people coming in and grabbing breakfast and grabbing coffee before they go to work downtown,” a Reid’s representative said. “And then being a lunch hot-spot.”
Upon opening the doors of this 2,100-square-foot space, you will notice the signature bold green color accented all around, the beautiful painted magnolias on the walls and shelves stacked up with Reid’s gourmet snacks and gift baskets.
With hours being Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday 7 a.m to 3 p.m., this location will differ from the others in that it will serve breakfast consistently. Reid’s has locations in Myers Park and SouthPark.
The new spot features a full menu including coffee, dessert, and breakfast and lunch items such as avocado toast ($5.99), the southern fried chicken biscuit ($5.99) and a build your own salad option ($9.99/lb).
As well as items to order, there is a large case of refrigerated grab-and-go items, frozen entrees and a selection of wines and bottled beverages.
Though there are no seats in the actual store, there is a nice outdoor seating area with tables as well as a few tables and chairs right outside the store in the lobby of the office building.
Breakfast and lunch catering is also available from this location.
