Whether you had a Blue Christmas, a White Christmas or you don’t even celebrate Christmas, the holiday season can be quite a blur.
But there’s no reason to stop celebrating after the ball drops on New Years Eve. A night at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art makes for a perfect post-holiday date night, way to entertain family members still in town, or a much-needed solo activity after the dust and tinsel settles.
Prolong the holiday spirit at the next Jazz at the Bechtler concert, “Post Holiday Blues IX | Many Shades of Blue,” featuring drummer Kobie Watkins.
Catch a pre- or post-dinner performance Friday, Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. or 8:15 p.m. Both shows are first-come, first-served and have no intermission. There’s a cash bar and light appetizers, too.
Make sure to get there early — you don’t want to miss the opening performance! The raw talent of 14-year-old guitarist and vocalist Aron Stornaiuolo will blow you away.
