I have a confession: I’ve lived in Charlotte for eight years and I’ve never been on or in Lake Norman.

That’s right, I’ve somehow managed to not visit the largest manmade lake that sits just outside of the city. I’ve written about it and talked about it and driven over it, but have never been in it.

Wow, it feels good to get that off my chest.

On this week’s CharlotteFive Podcast, Sallie Funderburk, Richard Brooke and I confess our worst Charlotte sins.

What’s a Charlotte sin? It could be something in Charlotte that you should have done but never have. Or it could be a popular and/or iconic place you’ve never visited. Or it could be an unpopular Charlotte opinion.

We picked five(ish) sins each and shared them on the podcast. The reactions are priceless.

What are your Charlotte sins? Confess them to us in the comments or via Twitter, Facebook or email.

Also discussed on this week’s podcast:

– What’s the worst Charlotte sin? Richard and I have different ideas.

– And there will be a solar eclipse on Monday, which is kind of a big deal. Here’s where to watch it.
