This post is brought to you in partnership with Overton Row. All opinions are our own.

We wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve been thinking about moving to Plaza Midwood. It’s centrally located and close to just about everything, making it one of the city’s hottest neighborhoods — especially with so many new bars, restaurants and retail shops opening in the area.

But maybe you’re worried about finding a place that feels like home in the 28205. There are so many apartment complexes to choose from, as well as houses available for rent, that it can seem overwhelming to find one that is the right fit for your needs.

Thankfully, that’s where the new apartment community Overton Row comes in.

Overton Row has studios available as well as one- and two-bedroom units, and the office is open every day of the week if you would like to stop by and learn more. Office hours are listed here.

Amenities abound.

Overton Row has put a lot of thought into making life as incredible as possible for its residents. Pet-friendly, the community features both a dog park and a luxurious dog spa. For the humans? Check out the yoga grass area next to the tranquil pool, or the extensive fitness area with Fitness-On-Demand.

If you’re going out on the town, feel free to wait in the designated guest Uber Lounge for your ride. Plus, the community often has tap takeovers in the lounge!

Speaking of taps, did we mention that Overton Row surrounds the in-house Thirsty Beaver bar? Grab a brew and chill out in the swings by the fire pit on Autumn evenings, or join in the festivities when the community throws weekly events like football block parties or terrarium building.

Location, location, location

No discussion of Overton Row would be complete without talking about its unique locale. Positioned so that its loft apartments have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind view of the Charlotte skyline, the community also partners with surrounding businesses.

Community-wide Bruch So Hard events are thrown by teaming up with local star The Peculiar Rabbit. Nearby businesses like Smooth Monkey and Two Scoops feature menu items specially made for Overton Row, like the Overton Row smoothie and the Overton Row ice cream flavor.

As the newest community to grace the Plaza Midwood area, Overton Row has built on the ideas that make apartment buildings a success.

Call or stop by for a tour, where you can see their up-to-date amenities like deep sinks and subway tile backsplash in the kitchens and bathtubs.

  1. Excuse me – the Thirsty Beaver is absolutely not their in-house bar, it’s an act of resistance against this monstrosity. I get you guys are just parroting a press release for ad dollars, but holy shit man! Have some credibility on something this legendary in CLT

  2. Lol this article is peak CharlotteFive. I think y’all can pack it up now. You’ve published the most CharlotteFive thing that could have ever been posted. Now take my CPM money and please stop.

  3. You should feel ashamed and embarrassed. This is not true plaza midwood and Thirsty Beaver is not, and never will be, your bar. In fact, the place is still standing in protest of this crap.
