Last week, we announced that Diet Coke has rolled out a whole new modern design for its cans — and added four fresh new flavors to its lineup.
The refreshed Diet Coke look is anchored by the iconic silver color and features a sharper logo, bold colors to represent each flavor and a sleek vertical brand, called the “High Line,” that extends across all packaging.
Diet Coke will roll out four new flavors this month to offer consumers bolder, more dynamic taste experiences: Feisty Cherry, Zesty Blood Orange, Ginger Lime and Twisted Mango.
Starting this week, you’ll be able to find this new Diet Coke family of beverages in sleek 12 oz. cans (sold as on-the-go singles as well as in eight-packs) in stores near you.
We were lucky enough to get a sneak preview of these new additions to the Diet Coke crew last week, when all four flavors were paired with small plates crafted by Chef Franke Jones, Executive Chef of 204 North Kitchen & Cocktails. If you’re considering picking up an eight-pack, check out our review of the pairing to see what types of meals will best complement your new favorite beverage.
As a long-time Diet Coke addict myself, I’ve been particularly excited to pick up a few cans of each of these flavors to try my hand at crafting some fun new cocktails. I’ve always enjoyed a good rum and Diet Coke, but I have a hunch that the Diet Coke Twisted Mango would be even more tropically delicious when paired with coconut rum. I’ll find out for sure this weekend.
