If you’re searching for a magic show that is unlike any other, look no further. The Naked Magicians are coming to the Blumenthal and they are bringing a new meaning to the phrase: “now you see it, now you don’t.”
On Thursday, October 18 the famous Australian duo, Mike Tyler and Christopher Wayne will be performing their R-rated mind boggling magic tricks sans top hats and capes… and clothes.
“Being on stage doing magic without relying on pockets or sleeves does add that extra challenge and ups our game,” Wayne says.
“Good magicians don’t need sleeves and great magicians don’t need pants,” says Tyler. “When we say ‘abracadabra,’ the audience isn’t always looking at our hands.”
The buff and beautiful best friends, Tyler and Wayne began their naked bit after being constantly asked to make their clothes disappear. And now for millions of fans in more than 200 cities and 7 countries, the long-time magicians have been doing just that.
“It’s kind of crazy because magic is the second-oldest profession ever and we couldn’t believe that no one had combined the two things that everyone loves — magic and nudity,” says Wayne.
You can catch the Naked Magicians and their full frontal illusions on Thursday, October 18 at 7 p.m. and again at 9:45 p.m. at McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square. Get your tickets here.
