A million twinkling lights, colorful holiday displays set to music, steaming cups of hot chocolate (or a glass of wine or beer), marshmallows roasting over an open fire, visits from Santa, food galore, activities for the kids, carolers and more!
This is what happy holidays are made of — and now you can experience it for yourself at Holidays at the Garden at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden November 23 – January 6.
A trip to Holidays at the Garden: A Mile of A Million Lights, will make your holiday evening magical (and Instagram-worthy). Here’s how to enjoy some holiday cheer at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden this season.
Light it up
What’s Christmas without lights, lights and more lights? Make your way to A Mile of A Million Lights and embrace the magic of a cold Carolina evening. Hold hands with your S.O., put your kid on your shoulders or laugh with friends, all while taking in rows and rows of twinkling colors. Included with your ooohs and ahhhs in the garden is the all new, musically orchestrated topiary display and cool 8 ft. lanterns.
Cue the music
Chilly winter evenings are just better with live holiday music, performed daily at Holidays at the Garden from 6 – 8 p.m. Stop by the Visitor Pavillon and let season fill you with warm fuzzies while you listen to carols and musical entertainment that will put you and your companions in the holiday spirit pronto. Extra jolly points for dancing and singing along.
Baby, it’s cold outside — but that’s part of the magic of this time of year! Holidays at the Garden has many fun (and delicious) ways to keep everyone happy and toasty. Warm your hands over an open fire, make some s’mores with your crew or enjoy cup of hot chocolate, cider, coffee, beer or wine. And if the idea of getting a few items crossed off your gift list gets you fired up, peruse The Garden Store for unique gift ideas.
For the kids
No holiday tale is complete without frolicking children. A night at Holidays at the Garden will delight even the smallest of elves (and tire them out). Kids will love the hands-on activities along the Children’s Discovery Trail — and no outing is complete without a quick chat with Santa and Mrs. Claus, letting them know how good they’ve been this year.
All this beauty, lights and enchantment is bound to leave you in need of food and drink. Holidays at the Garden has you covered with food trucks galore, sweet treats, beer, wine, s’mores and more.
Have a holly, jolly holiday season
Get your tickets and be part of this 14-year tradition. Spend an evening soaking up the “wow” factor for a perfect start or ending to this wonderful season!
