5 reasons why you should be going to South End to celebrate New Year’s Eve

This post is brought to you in partnership with SportsLink. All opinions are our own.

SportsLink is hosting its 7th annual New Year’s Eve Party at South End Station. This year’s theme is “Cirque Du SouthEnd.”

With general admission, attendees get 40 tickets for drinks, coat check and party favors, and ticket prices start at $70. The VIP experience allows for early admission, access to VIP only bars, and more. Ticket prices for the VIP experience start at $110. Proceeds from the event will raise money for Habitat for Humanity.

On top of these convincing reasons, here are five more reasons why you should be going to South End to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

(1) There is so much to see and do

Think: four different DJs with a great amount of space to dance, an awesome band called Pluto for Planet, balloon drops, special aerialist performances throughout the evening, a photo booth, and nine bars. Need we say more?

(2) So many people to celebrate with

As one of the biggest New Year’s Eve parties in Charlotte, there will be about 2,000 people who are dressed up and ready to celebrate the new year.

(3) Convenient

The event takes place at South End Station, which is in the heart of South End and across from the Lynx line. The location is easy to get to and even easier to get home from.

(4) One price for the night

The all-inclusive ticket to the event allows attendees to keep their cash and cards in their pockets while bartenders mix up some delicious drinks.

(5) Because it’s going to be the place to be

“The cool kids know this is where everyone wants to be for the end of 2018!” said SportsLink’s managing director, Christian Crute.
