Don’t leave money on the table when it comes time to sell
Staging a home correctly and taking a few easy steps to prepare a home to look its best can be the difference between a quick sell and watching your home sit on the market for months.
“The good news is buyers are willing to pay a super premium for houses that are magazine worthy,” says Lexie Longstreet of Savvy + Co. Real Estate. “It’s important that sellers know how to maximize their investment, and how just some simple updates can amount to tens of thousands of dollars.”
Learn about simple updates to refresh the look of your home
The expert stagers and selling pros at Savvy + Co. Real Estate will be at the workshop to help sort out the “need to’s” and the “have to’s” when it comes to preparing your home to sell.
“Design trends change about every eight years, and that’s about how long sellers stay in their homes,” says Longstreet. “So if you are thinking of selling, it’s probably time to do a little redesign.”
Longstreet suggests starting with updated paint colors as one of the least expensive, highest-impact bangs for your buck, followed by replacing light fixtures and some staging.
“Sometimes just moving a few pieces of furniture around could net you thousands,” she adds.
Make your HGTV dreams come true, have a great night out and learn how to get the most out of your home at this free event!
