Calling all Carolina fans! If you haven’t heard, The WFNZ Coca-Cola Dog House is Charlotte’s prime tailgating spot and the best place in town to cheer on our home team. The back deck is full of high-spirited fans, drinks are flowing, and the location – one block from the stadium – can’t be beat.
The concept came to life in 1998 when a group of radio stations took over an abandoned auto repair shop on Morehead Street. The space was renovated and the ‘Dog House’ has rocked hundreds of football games and other activities, and the best time to visit is hands down during home games.
Fans can enjoy a full bar including beer, wine and mixed drinks as well as food trucks from local favorites– JJ’s Red Hots and Sauceman’s BBQ. For designated drivers or those who prefer to cheer on their favorite team sans alcohol, local bottler Coca-Cola Consolidated is onsite handing out free mini cans of Coca-Cola and Coke Zero Sugar.
Lucky for fans without tickets to the game, the tailgate party at The WFNZ Coca-Cola Doghouse continues well after kick-off. Join 102.5 FM/610 AM WFNZ as they broadcast live on location, and watch the game on one of several large screen TVs on the back deck.
This Sunday, join the party at the WFNZ Coca-Cola Dog House as the blue and black takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Doors open at 10 a.m. Parking is available in various pay lots off of Mint Street.
