CO, the popular pan-Asian restaurant that started in Charleston, will open its second Charlotte location in the Waverly development in south Charlotte.
CO, known for its bahn mi, pho, sushi and signature cocktails, opened its first Charlotte spot in Park Road Shopping Center late last year.
The development also announced that Carolina Ale House and YAMA would also open the development. Carolina Ale House and CO will be adjacent to a public plaza called The Terrace, which features outdoor dining space. YAMA, a sushi restaurant, will be next to the Viva Chicken.
Carolina Ale House, based in Raleigh, has another location in uptown and one in Concord. YAMA will be the restaurant’s third location in the area after Yama Asian Fusion in SouthPark and Yama Izakaya in Plaza Midwood.
All three are expected to open late spring or early summer next year.
