Gallery Restaurant

Thrill that special someone this Valentine’s Day with a date night at Gallery Restaurant at The Ballantyne Hotel. Their modern culinary techniques are paired with Southern approach to new American cuisine.

They will be offering a prix fixe dinner menu Feb. 14 through 16 for $95, which will feature four courses. You’ll start with delectable small bites, such as scallop crudo with olive dust and pine nut fennel salad, or perhaps a foie gras-chive blini with a sunny-side up quail egg and mango gastrique. Creative salad choices will follow. The main course options will include seafood, elk and even a vegetarian gnocchi option. Then, of course, there are decadent dessert options to top off your meal. Choose the “Hot for You” cinnamon chocolate mousse with a hot honey brownie or the “Berry Mine” vanilla choux puff with strawberry creme.

If you are feeling adventurous, the Gallery is also featuring “DINING IN THE DARK” on those same nights for $125, which is a delightful evening for the senses. This limited-seating experience will include a four-course dinner heightened with wine pairings and music. When you and your date arrive, you will both be given blindfolds and you will be escorted to your assigned table in the private dining room, which will include six tables of two. Make sure to specify you wish to dine in the dark when you make your reservation. This special experience will occur in a private dining room one time each of the three evenings at 6:30 p.m.
