The eclectic Baja Mexican Cantina, Cabo Fish Taco has finally arrived to South Charlotte — with all the same feels as the flagship restaurant in NoDa.
Cabo’s concept of coastal Mexican dishes combined with healthy California inspired recipes has become a local hit over the past few years. The second Charlotte location officially opened Sunday at 11611 North Community House Road.
Founded in 2001 by surfing duo Rob Crenshaw and Gary Walker, Cabo Fish Taco quickly rose to fame with its southern-style Mango BBQ Mahi Tacos, which have been featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dive.
Cabo combines coastal Mexican dishes with healthy California inspired recipes. With an extensive beer list and a large selection of tequila as well as the noteworthy Cabo Jumbo Specialty Margarita, consider the Ballantyne Cabo your go-to spot for after-work drinks and social gatherings.
Searching for the perfect location to watch your favorite sporting event? Cabo’s got you covered. The restaurant is fitted with seven 65-inch televisions and a 15-foot projection screen.
“Soon as the weather turns for the better, our 1,200-square-foot patio will be opening up. We look forward to welcoming the community into Cabo Fish Taco,” said Craig Calcasola, part owner of the Ballantyne location.
You can visit the newest Cabo Fish Taco, Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
