A fitness studio, pho restaurant and dentist’s office have been signed as the newest tenants of 2100 North Davidson St., a former warehouse that’s being renovated next to Cordelia Park in Villa Heights.
LPA Urban, a division of Lat Purser & Associates, is redeveloping the two buildings on the site into 18,000 square feet of commercial space, according to a statement from the Charlotte firm this week. Property records show Lat Purser bought the property last year for $1.5 million. The site is walkable to the 25th Street light rail station and nearby retail locations such as Free Range Brewing and Amelie’s French Bakery & Café.
“With thousands of residential units planned within only a half mile of the site, we continue to see strong leasing activity and look forward to completing our retail lineup at 2100 NoDa soon,” James Craig of LPA Urban said in the statement.
Up the street, almost 500 new apartments and a new, creative office space in an old mill are planned for sites facing each other at North Davidson Street and Jordan Place, in Optimist Park near NoDa.
Here are the details of the new tenants:
▪ Ebb & Flow Movement Studio will open in a 4,000 square-foot space late this summer. Owner Lauren Childs will offer a variety of Pilates, yoga and dance classes “for adults seeking fun and engaging fitness alternatives.”
▪ Pho @ NoDa will open in a 2,000 square-foot space before the end of the year. It will sell pho, bánh mì sandwiches and bubble teas. Owner Trung Cao operates another Vietnamese restaurant called Saigon Bay in University City.
▪ Stellar Dental will open in a 3,000 square-foot spot this fall. Owner Natalie Martinez-Rogers, a dentist who operates another office in University City, will provide dental care for patients of all ages and offer a dental savings plan for patients without insurance.
