Meggie and Sebastian Williams met in college at UNC Chapel Hill. They ran for Senior Class President together (and won), moved to New York City, worked in consulting, quit their jobs, traveled the world for nine months, moved to Charlotte, worked for startups and started their own business together — and they’re just 28 years old.
We talked to this power couple on this week’s episode of the CharlotteFive Podcast.
Meggie and Sebastian started The Waggle Company, a pet sitting company, at the end of last year.
They talked about the long journey that led them to start the company, why they chose to settle in Charlotte after their around-the-world trip (they didn’t have jobs here when they arrived), why they wanted to start their own company, and what it’s like to run a company with your spouse.
Also on this week’s podcast:
– Sarah Crosland talks about her list of 10 things you MUST do around Charlotte in October.
– She also tells a story about the Cleveland County Fair that you do not want to miss. Seriously. I was speechless at the end.
– We update you on the next round of the CharlotteFive Awards.
– And, of course, what you should be doing this weekend.
