Fall is more than just watching football and chugging pumpkin spice lattes. It’s also about music, friends and enjoying the (now cooler) outdoors.

At First Ward Fall Festival on October 13 and 14, you’ll welcome autumn with blues music, tasty food trucks and local craft beer.

Here’s how you can plan your weekend in the park:

First Ward Park, Friday, October 13, 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 14, 2 to 9 p.m.

Listen to blues on a picnic blanket. The Tony Eltora Band is a smooth blend of the music from Paul Simon, Muddy Waters, and John Scofield. Born in Jessup Pennsylvania, Eltora began writing and performing at clubs and festivals in the Richmond area. Now, he’s bringing his brand of bluesy folk to the fall festival, live and in person. Starts on Friday at 6 p.m.

Check out Carolyn Wonderland. As if one performer wasn’t enough on a Friday night, Carolyn Wonderland brings her flavor of music to the festival. Starts on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Grab food truck eats. Whether you’re in the mood for ice cream or a sandwich, you’ll have your pick of eateries on wheels. Choose between Bo’s BBQ, NY Dogs & More, and Kona Ice.

Drink your favorite local beers (and wine). You’ll be able to pick from your favorite breweries: Birdsong, Free Range and Legion at one of the nearby tents or wine from Traveling Grape.

If you’re going on Saturday, be sure to catch School of Rock (2 p.m.), Bill Miller Band (3 p.m.), The Ragbirds (4:30 p.m.), John Nemeth (6 p.m.) and Roomful of Blues (7 p.m.).
